The ability of autonomic learning can effectively improve the quality and efficiency of studying and achieve the best learning effect so as to meet the demand of survival developing and life-studying in the future. This paper discusses the necessity and methods of cultivating the ability of autonomic learning in foreign language teaching and learning based on the understanding of autonomic learning.
