电池监测芯片DS2438在低功耗涡街流量计中的应用

涡街流量计被广泛地应用于石油、化工等领域，是目前测量流量的主要仪表之一。如采用交流电源经降压、整流、稳压、滤波的方式供电．这样不但增加现场安装施工的难度，同时极易引入电源干扰；采用电池供电，必须实时检测电池剩余电量。否则可能由于电池电量不足而导致严重后果。 本系统采用DS2438完成对电池当前状态的监测。MSP430单片机根据需要读取和处理这些参数，最后把电池状态送往液晶显示器显示。当电池容量低于500MAh时．通过GSM短消息方式向检测中心报警提示更换电池。

Maybe we can supply power by dropping alternating current and commutating and stabilization and then filter, but that must be very difficult to install and easy to introduce disturb, When supplying power by battery the remain power should be inspected real time, otherwise there must be some destructive result caused by low power. We use DS2438 to inspect the actual, state of the battery in this system. MSP430 read and dispose these parameters and then send the state of battery to the LCD for display. While the contain of the battery is lower than 500mAH the system can report to the inspect centre by GSM for changing another battery.
