我国当前社会矛盾主要是在体制转型的过程中产生的,矛盾的内容和核心具有利益性;我国特殊的国情不仅决定了我国现阶段一些社会矛盾表现得特别复杂和严峻,而且还具有解决起来难度相当大的特点;群体性事件明显增多,社会矛盾互动方式趋于激化。正确解决和处理当前影响社会和谐的矛盾和问题,就必须坚持科学发展观,适应社会发展的要求来推进经济、政治、文化和社会体制的改革与创新,并在此基础上建设各种正确反映和兼顾各方面群众利益的长效机制。

The current social contradiction of China is developed from the transition of systems. Therefore the content and core of the contradiction involve interests. Our special national conditions determine the extreme complexity and seriousness of some social contradictions at current time. Also those contradictions are very hard to solve. The Party-masses relationship and cadre-masses relationship are becoming extremely tense.The number of group events is obviously increasing, and the interactive way of social contradiction tends to be more radical. In order to correctly solve current contradictions and problems concerning social harmony, we should adhere to the scientific outlook on development, and promote economic, political, cultural and social reform and innovation corresponding to the demands of social development. Then on the basis of above measures, various effective and long-term mechanisms, correctly reflecting masses' interests of various aspects and taking them into consideration, should be established.
