Integrated Supervision and Control System is a powerful, open, modular, extensible distributed control system, integrating and interconnecting ninny subsystems. This paper introduces the constitution of Integrated Supervision and Control System for Beijing Metro Line 10. The integration parts of this system include power supply monitor, environment and equipment monitor, platform shield gate, cable, closed circuit television and other subsystems. Beijing Urban Rail Control Center, the automatic fire alarm, the automatic train control, transmission, the clock, wireless communications, the automatic fare checking, passenger information, and alarm focused communication equipment and other subsystems are the interocnnect parts of it. The spedfic functions of these subsystems are presented in detail, The author concludes that the Integrated Supervision and Control System will enhance the safety, reliability and rapid restponse ability of the automatic system to achieve higher performance-cost ratio and to reduce repeated investment and maintenance ocst in the later period. The system also provides an information-integrating platform for the subway operation management.
