摘要
美国是当今世界高等教育和科学技术的中心,其工程硕士的发展比我国早三十余年,现已初具规模和体系。中美两国的工程硕士招生制度在其主要方面都与各自国家研究生招生传统一脉相承,但又各具特色。从招生对象、选拔方式、收费情况三个方面进行比较,找出其异同,目的是为我国工程硕士教育的快速和稳健发展奠定更加坚实的基础。
US is now the center of world higher education and the science and technology where the program of masters of engineering （M. E） has already begun to take shape within the system since it was 30 years earlier than in China. The principal aspects of the M. E Program in China and America typically follow their own enrollment systems but also are unique to some extent. We try to carry on a comparison on the student candidates, the selection, and the tuition to discover its similarities and differences with the aim to lay a more solid foundation to the steady development of M. E education in China.
