Taking Huarun plant phase one project cooling tower construction as an example, this paper introduces the scheme of adding pumping pipe to standard flat bridge to vertically transport and pour concrete with tractive pump. Having adopted such technique, the tower wall construction speed was increased by 35% and the construction time was reduced by 17 days without increasing costs.
