STHE EFFECTS OF ZrO 2 ON SINTERING PROPERTIES OF Si 3N 4

对添加ＺｒＯ２的Ｓｉ３Ｎ４陶瓷烧结性能的研究表明：一方面ＺｒＯ２可作为一种烧结助剂，促进液相烧结；另一方面它也以四方相形式弥散分布于Ｓｉ３Ｎ４晶粒间，以提高材料的强韧性．试验结果表明：常压烧结下，ＺｒＯ２的质量分数为０．１８时。

Sintering properties of pressureless sintered Si 3N 4 doped with ZrO 2 were studied. It was found that ZrO 2 can be used as sintering aid, improving the liquid phase sintering of Si 3N 4, and that it could be decomposed between the crystal in the form of tetragonal phase, improving the strength and toughness. The experimental result shows that when the ZrO 2 content of Si 3N 4 is 18%, the material has the best sintering properties.
