Through a project example, this paper makes approach and summary of the key construction methods and techniques, e.g. the consolidation of ground surface, reversed compression stopping, pre-bolt-spray support, strengthening of rock pillar amidst, excavation of culverl body, monitoring and surveying, used in the short clear-distance tunnel constructed by shallow foundation and eccentric compression.
