Deng Xiaoping’s theory, the important thought of “Three Represents” and the modern Chinese conception of scientific development not only contain the sustainable development conception embodying China’s actual conditions, but also reflect the wisdom from the experience of China’s sustainable development. It is our inevitable choice to persist in people-oriented and economy-centered sustainable development, promote the overall social development, bring into full play the superiority of socialist system, and advocate the spirit of hard struggle in work for the purpose of constructing a harmonious and resource-saving socialist society, and consequently realizing the aim of sustainable development.
