答《新华书目报》记者问

Reflections after a telephone interview to journalist of Xinhua Catalog

不久前,笔者接受了《新华书目报》记者陶源源小姐的电话采访,其中对戏剧艺术以及戏剧图书市场等问题谈了看法,认为,造成戏剧图书市场表现“惨淡”之根本问题在于戏剧本身的失落,面对网络文化的强力挤压,本质为娱乐的戏剧行业在整个娱乐界和文化界皆呈现全面退缩的迹象。戏剧行业的不景气必然导致世人对戏剧关注热情的日渐淡漠,其在戏剧图书市场上的表现可以说不问而知。为今之计,戏剧图书的确要尽快摆脱纯粹纸本的窠臼,尽快与电子化和音像化结合。此外,还可参照戏曲界的有些成功做法,考虑有计划、有目的地主办或积极参与相关学术活动以及大型演出后的书评座谈活动,在营造社会影响引导阅读时尚的同时积极发现好的选题和精品书稿。一句话,只有在戏剧名家名作较多出现,戏剧演出日渐萎缩的局面得到改善,整个社会关注戏剧的人越来越多的情况下,戏剧图书市场才会真正改观。

In the telephone interview to the journalist of Xinhua Catalog, the author spoke on drama and the book market for drama activities. It is held that the sluggish drama book market results from the decline of drama itself under the background of flourishing network culture. In order to change the difficult position of drama book market, it is necessary to introduce electronic, audio and video means into drama books. Meanwhile, the successful practice in traditional operas can be adopted to invigorate the drama book market, e.g. to conduct relevant academic activities in a planned way, to have forum of book reviews after big performances and to seek out good topics and scripts. In one word, the drama book market can prosper only when there are more and more people attracted by excellent dramas and their performance.
