Superparamagnetic dextran magnetic nanoparticles with a mean diameter of 313 nm were prepared by coprecipitation. Effects of concentration of NaIO_4, amount of enzyme and reaction time in the process of preparation on the activity of enzyme immobilized on dextran magnetic nanoparticles were studied. Effects of temperature and chymotrypsin on immobilized L-asparaginase were compared with those of soluble enzyme. After L-asparaginase was immobilized,its thermal stability was improved slightly, and its resistance to hydrolysis by chymotrypsin was increased remarkably.
