This paper expounded the theory of computer simulation of Markov models of ion channel gating.The detecting result of the method of multi-exponential components of simulation data of two gating models was compared with that of the method of mean open duration of consecutive groups raised by the authors,who probed into the effect and the applicative range of the new method.
