Fascin1 mRNA和蛋白在鼻咽癌中的表达及临床意义

The expression and significance of Fascin1 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma

目的研究fascin1 mRNA和蛋白在鼻咽癌(NPC)组织中的表达及其临床意义。方法采用逆转录聚合酶链反应(RT-PCR)和免疫组织化学方法分别检测fascin1在鼻咽癌组织中的表达。结果fascin1 mRNA和蛋白在鼻咽癌组织中的阳性表达率分别为86.7%(26/30)和80.4%(41/51),fascin1的表达与鼻咽癌颈淋巴结转移、临床分期、鼻咽癌患者的预后具有显著相关性(P<0.05),而与EB病毒抗体(VCA-IgA)无相关性(P>0.05)。结论fascin1可能作为鼻咽癌早期区域淋巴结转移潜力的一个检测指标,对评价预后提供一定的参考价值。

Objective To study the expression of fascin1 and its clinicopathologic significance in nasopharyngeal carcinoma （NPC）. Methods Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction （RT-PCR） and immunohistochemical S-P staining were used to detect the expression of fascin1 mRNA and protein in NPC specimens. Results The positive expression rates of fascin1 rnRNA and protein in NPC were 86. 7% （26/30） and 80. 4% （41/51） respectively. The expression of fascin1 was closely associated with the cervical lymph node metastases, clinical stage and prognosis of NPC （P 〈0.05）but not with IgA antibody titer against Epstein-Barr virus capsid antigen （EBVCA-IgA） （ P〉0. 05）. Conehtsion The over expression of fascin1 may be involved in the early lymph node metastases of NPC and the detection of the expression of faschin1 may be helpful for evaluating the lymph node metastatic potential and the prognosis of NPC.
