this article expatiates the influence of oll pollution on plankton in two aspects which are phytoplankton and zooplankton, oil pollution imperils plankton＇s physiologic function such as growth, distribution, trophic absorption, photosynthesis. It also influences phytoplankton＇s participating in DMS＇s production and circulation; oil pollution results in Red tide, The influence of oil pollution on plankton＇s maybe stimulative or suppressive. Because oil shields the sunshine,the photosynthesis of plankton is restrained and then influence perpendicular distribution and diurnal migration situation . The imperilment of oil pollution on plankton will pass to other halobios through food chain.
