Using a Plural Number Vector Method to Design Disk Cam Profiles

本文介绍如何用复数矢量设计平面凸轮廓线。对滚子从动件盘形凸轮机构，在设计中不需求出凸轮理论廓线坐标，而直接计算出凸轮实际廓线和刀具中心轨迹曲线坐标。采用此种方法，可使设计计算工作大为简化。

This paper introduces how to design disk cam profiles by using a plural number vector method. By this method determination of the coordinates of the cam pitch curve is not required in the design of disk cam mechanism for roller follower, and coordinates of the cam profile and the cutting tool centre orbit are directly calculated. So calculations of cam profile design can be extremely simplified.
