Design of Satellite Orbits & Constellations for Continuous Partial Coverage

探讨了区域性覆盖卫星星座设计方法。为实现我国区域连续覆盖,对倾斜圆轨道星座,σ星座,椭圆回归轨道星座,极轨卫星星座,赤道轨道星座等设计方案优缺点进行研究,综合比较和仿真分析,赤道轨道星座和倾斜圆轨道星座,是对我国区域连续覆盖的较好方案。

We study some design methods of satellite constellation for partial coverage. In order to cover China continuously, we research the relative merits of most possible constellation design projects, which include the inclined circular orbit constellation, constellation, elliptical orbit constellation, the circular polar orbit constellation, equatorial plane constellation. By comparison and simulation analysis, the equatorial plane constellation and the inclined circular orbit regional coverage constellation are better projects for China continuous coverage.
