摘要
以多源数据库的元数据文档为基础,通过建立概念模型字典建立不同来源空间数据库的实体对象、结构和关系信息,建立方法字典和综合字典实现对数据项的约束校验和对数据库运行的记录与维护。数据字典集中了多源地质空间数据库中具有共性的结构和操作信息,它在数据库的功能操作和不同操作对象之间引入一个中间环节,辅助实现对多源数据的通用管理。研究结果证明,应用数据字典的通用管理提高了数据库的工作效率。
Based on metadata documents of the multi -source databases, the conceptual model dictionaries were set up to describe the objects, structures and relationships, the methodology dictionaries were set up to constrain and verify data items, and general dictionaries were set up to record and maintain opera- tions of the databases. The data dictionaries extracted and integrated the homologous structures and operations in multi - source geology spatial databases, and interposed a middleware between applications and objects in the database system, aided the uni- versal management of data from different departments. The research showed that application of data dictionary in universal database management could improve the database's efficiency.
