保守主义局限性分析——以自由观和财产观为核心

An Analysis of the Limitations of Conservatism——Focusing on the View of Freedom and Property

目前学术界对“保守主义”一词的理解存在诸多含混之处。有一种观点认为,所谓“市场保守主义”和“传统保守主义”的区分并无意义。本文从保守主义的两个重要观念——自由观与财产观出发,揭示了“市场保守主义”和“传统保守主义”的根本差别,指出二者在自由观的差别并不在“自由”和“秩序”这个层面,而是体现在“外在的”和“内在的”自由观的差异;二者对财产和自由市场的看法也存在重大差异。由此本文指出,二者的差别是本质上的,进一步研究二者的差别,对深刻认识保守主义有重要意义。

Presently there is much ambiguity in the academic world＇s understanding of conservatism. Some people think it is meaningless that we differentiate between the so called ＂market conservatism＂and ＂traditionist conservatism＂. This peper reveals the essential difference between ＂market conservatism＂ and ＂traditionist conservatism＂ through analyzing two important concepts of conservatism, i.e. freedom and property, pointing out that the difference between the two in their views of freedom in ＂freedom＂ and ＂order＂, but in ＂internal freedom＂ and ＂external freedom＂. Moreover, they have great difference in interpreting property and the free market. Thus this paper believes that there is essential difference between ＂ market conservatism＂ and ＂ traditionist conservatism＂, and to understand conservatism profoundly, more research should be carried out.
