《道连.格雷的画像》是王尔德本人及其艺术思想的集中体现,该小说的情节冲突主要反映在谋杀贝泽尔和谋杀画像而导致道连.格雷之死这两桩命案上。从这两桩谋杀案入手,剖析王尔德关于艺术与生活、艺术与道德、艺术与人生的艺术思想,其中隐含的悖论性及统一性展示了王尔德唯美主义思想的矛盾性与深刻性,这也是王尔德及其艺术思想影响深远的原因所在。
The Picture of Dorian Gray, whose main conflict lies in the murder of Basil Hallward and the murder of the picture leading to the death of Dorian Gray, is the focusing embodiment of Wilde himself and his artistic thought. Based on the interpretation of these two murder cases, the paper anatomises Wilde＇ s thought about art, life, moral and existence. Its paradox and unity present both the contradiction and profundity in Wilde＇ s aestheticism. This contributes to the farreaching influence of Wilde and his artistic thought.
