Networked warfare is the development direction of the U.S. Air and missile defense in the future, and U.S. will realize the networked air and missile defense capability. The development ideas of the U.S. networked air and missile defense system and the U.S. navy cooperative engagement capability are analyzed, as well as the U.S. army layered defense including Terminal High-Altitude Air Defense （ THAAD ） and Patriot. The mixed missile battalion including the Patriot and Avenger/Surface Launched Advanced Range Air-to-Air Missile （ SLAMRAAM ） is also introduced.
