The Establishment of China’s News Branch in the Period of 1920-1939

20世纪二三十年代是民国时期学术发展的全盛期。这一时期的学术界空前活跃,在报刊业方面,学人们都争办各类报刊,报刊界专业期刊也开始出现,新闻学方面的专业期刊同样获得了发展的契机;这一时期作为新闻学学科建立重要标志的设科建系在高等教育层面已经逐步开展起来;另外,专业新闻学研究队伍也开始形成,所有这些方面都标示了在20世纪二三十年代中国新闻学学科已经开始建立。

The academic development in the period of 1920-1939 was the prosperous period of Min-Guo academy. The academic field in this period was fairly active. As for the industry of newspaper, the intellectuals made great efforts to edit many kinds of newspapers and magazines. At the same time, the professional journals sprang. Among those journals, there were some journals in the field of news branch. The foundation of news department and news branch in the college education, which is an outstanding character of the establishment of China＇s news branch in this period, had taken the first step. Moreover, professional teams in the news branch also appeared. All of these showed the establishment of China＇s news branch in the period of 1920-1939.
