Investigation on Women Staying at Home in Rural Areas——An Investigation from Chongqing Municipality

在重庆市几个区县进行的问卷调查与访谈显示,农村社会泛女性化色彩严重,农业女性化与老龄化趋势明显;留守妇女劳动强度大,生理与心理问题突出;部分农村妇女虽然被迫留守,但普遍存在外出的冲动。

In several districts and counties of Chongqing municipality, the questionnaire survey and interview demonstrated that： the phenomena of feminization rural society is serious in most of rural areas; the tendency of agricultural feminization and aging is obvious; for the women staying at home, the intensity of labor is heavy, the problem of physiology and psychology is outstanding; although some women are compelled to stay at home in the rural areas, generally speaking, they have an impulse to go out to work.
