The successful operation of Chipolbrok

2月8日晚，光芒高照的华灯下，中波轮船股份公司（简称中波）中方总经理孙敏、波方总经理杨努什·杨尼舍夫斯基与中远船务工程集团有限公司总经理王兴如在上海签下了一份颇具意义的4＋2艘3万吨级重吊件杂货运输船的建造合同。作为一种共同见证，交通部副部长、中波公司股东代表徐祖远，波兰驻华大使代表、招商处商务参赞马莱克威施瓦，波兰驻沪总领事彼得斯瓦文斯基，中远集团副总裁李建红、中远新加坡控股有限公司副总裁季海生等中外宾客出席了合同签字仪式，并祈望中波与中远船务的首次合作获得圆满成功。

On February 8, 2007, the (4+2)× 30000 DWT Heavy-lift Vessels Shipbuilding Contract Signing Ceremony was held in Shanghai. The contract was signed between Chinese-Polish Joint Stock Shipping Company and COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd, a joint venture between China Ocean Shipping Com- pany (COSCO) and Singapore's SembCorp Marine. Chinese-Polish Joint Stock Shipping Company, or Chipolbrok, was established in 1951 by the govern- ments of the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Poland. It is the first foreign-invested joint venture registered in China after 1949. Having been performing Asia-Europe break bulk liner service since 1951, Chipolbrok has accumulated rich experience in transportation of big numbers and all sorts of complex cargo, oversized pieces and heavy lifts such as complete sets of factory equipment for key national projects of China. In recent years, Chipolbrok has independently and successfully completed the carriage of all metro wagons for Shanghai and Guangzhou from Hamburg, which fully evidenced the Company's outstanding ability in break bulk, especially heavy lifts transportation. The successful operation for over half a century has won Chipolbrok high reputation all over the world.
