摘要
为探讨润肠通便汤治疗老年功能性便秘的临床疗效，将老年功能性便秘患者60例随机分为治疗组和对照组，治疗组给予润肠通便汤治疗，对照组服用市售果导片。治疗组疗效明显优于对照组。结果表明，润肠通便汤治疗老年功能性便秘效果显著，对老年顽固性便秘，必须顾及气血津液，采用辨证施治，从调理脏腑功能着手，使气血津液得充，不可盲目泻下取速效。
The objective of the study was to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of Runchang Tongbian decoction（RTD） in the treatment of senile functional constipation（SFC）. Sixty cases with SFC were divided randomly into two groups：group A received RTD and group B received phenolphthaleinum tablet. As results, the therapeutic efficacy of group A was superior to that of group B. It is showed that RTD can bring about notable therapeutic effect on SFC. It is suggested that the following aspects for the treatment of senile intractable constipation should be taken into consideration：diagnosis ＆ treatment based on overall analysis of symptoms and signs; regulation and nourishment of viscera; replenishment of qi, blood and body fluid;and avoidance of blindly purgation for rapid result.
