《论语·里仁》篇“我未见好仁者”章浅释

摘要 对《论语.里仁》篇中“我未见好仁者”这一章,学者的理解不是很不一致,其解释也有许多差异。在参考了多家注释之后,认为本章的章旨在于:仁之境界难至,但为仁之方易行。孔子慨叹世人不知为仁之方,所以未见用其力于仁之人。实际上为仁之方,主要在己心之好恶。如果真心能好仁恶不仁,则其心已至于仁矣。也就是所谓的“我欲仁,斯仁至矣”。如果真心能好仁恶不仁,心志于仁,则用其力于仁没有力不足的。世人以力不足为由而不行仁,实际上是误认为仁在心外,要借外力才能求仁,不知道仁体本在己心之好恶。 For the chapter "I've Met No Benevolence" in The Analects, scholars differ in understandings. The author holds that this chapter intends to say that it is hard to fulfill benevolence but the way of practicing it is easy. Confucius said that people do not know the way of practicing benevolence, and there is no person who is devoted to fulfilling it. In fact, the way of practicing benevolence lies in one's like and dislike of such a virtue. In other words, if he is truly fond of benevolence, he is already a benevolent man. People find different excuses for not practicing benevolence because they believe that benevolence is outside our mind, and it should be practiced by concrete actions. What they do not know is that the very nature of being benevolent lies in our mind to be benevolent.
