摘要
随着网络传输速度的不断提高。交换机/路由器的交换能力已经成为制约网络性能的关键因素。半步超前交换(HFS)技术是一种将交换节点传统的串行处理模式调整为并行处理模式的虚电路交换技术的改进。本文合该交换技术的特点,提出采用分级组播的框架,并设计了一种适用于骨干网络且支持QoS的面向以太网物理帧的组播转发机制。
With the rapid development of transmission speed of network, the switching ability of the switch/router has been a key factor that restricts the performance of the Internet. Half-step Forward Switching (HFS) technology is one kind of improvement making adjustment from serial processing mode to parallel processing mode with virtual circuit switch technology. This paper presents the framework of hierarchical multicast combined with the characteristics of the HFS technology and designs an Ethernet-oriented Physical Frame multicast system which supports QoS and is suitable for backbone network.
