Comparison on Leisure between Chinese and Western Attitudes

随着社会经济的快速发展,休闲已成为人们生活的重要组成部分。由于文化上的差异,中西方对休闲的认知及态度存在很多分歧;而经济的发展和中西文化交流的日渐频繁,使二者具有相互融合的地方。本文通过对中西文化中的审美文化、宗教文化、政治文化、经济文化、伦理文化及时间价值观等方面的比较分析,探讨了中西方休闲观的差异性与共通性。

With rapid development of social economy, leisure has become an important part of daily life in both China and west. However, there are some discrepancies due to cultural difference; there are also some fusions as the world quickens its steps in economic development and cultural ex- change. The article provides differences and similarities of attitudes between Chinese and western to leisure through analyzing cultures of aesthetics, religion, politics, economy, ethics and temporal idea.
