摘要 在翻译课程中实施以提高能力为目标的素质教育至今还是一个新课题。在德国翻译教育家U.Kautz的《笔译与口译教学手册》(Handbuch Didaktik des iibersetzens und Dolmetschens)和相关文献的思想启发下,笔者在翻译课上尝试了以能力培养为主旨的翻译教学,启发培养学生的翻译意识,树立科学翻译观,收到了良好的效果。本文根据笔者的教学成果,列举翻译教学中以培养翻译能力为主旨的5项重要理念:信息意识、译文无定本、技能意识、原文词典的功用、文本类型与翻译策略。 Developing students' aptitude in translation studies is the objective of a new attempt in the teaching of translation. Inspired by the ideas discussed by U. Kautz, the German educator of translation and interpretation, in The Handbook of Translation and Interpretation and related works, impressive achievements have been made in the attempt to develop students' aptitude in translation studies by enlightening their awareness and building up better understanding in the teaching of translation. This essay, based on the achievements the author has made in the teaching of translation, elaborates five key concepts for the effective development of students' aptitude in translation:interpretation of the text as information instead of separate words and phrases, flexibility with texts and their translations,adaptability with strategies through translation practice, the use of dictionaries in the original language as an aid in the interpretation of the texts, identification of text types and application of appropriate approaches in translation.
