The application of network technology in virtual instrument makes remote network test possible. From the research of network structure, the paper analyzed several network models and network protocols which were suitable for virtual instrument test , and the efficient and convenient of network test technology were studied by enumerating the successful example, which has shown that network technology has good application space and wonderful development prospects in the test field of virtual instrument.
