Countermeasure Study on Eco-environmental Status of Dongping Lake and Sustainable Development of its Catchment

调查和分析了山东省重要浅水湖泊东平湖的生态环境现状,并在此基础上提出了加强流域生态建设、流域工业绿色化、发展流域立体生态农业、健全流域管理体制以及加强科学研究等生态环境治理措施。

Dongping Lake is the second largest shallow lake in Shandong Province and the hinge possessing important strategic significance in the east route of the south-to-north water transfer project. Through the survey of the lake water environment pollution,the fact that pollution was serious in this area was found out. The water quality was of V or even less level according to surface water quality standard （GB3838-2002）. Industrial and domestic waste water around the lake catchment was the main reason of water environment pollution. Countermeasures to improve comprehensive ecological environment of the lake and its catchment were put forward, which were strengthening ecological reconstruction, greening of industry, enhancing stereo ecological agriculture, perfecting managerial systems and reinforcing scientific research.
