In view of outstanding problems existed in asphalt concrete pavement and shortages encountered in the application of modified asphalt and SMA technology geosynthetics is introduced for asphalt concrete pavement construction. This paper introduces the advantages of this material and its application situations, which receive obvious economic benefits.
