摘要
将小波零树的分形图像编码方法推广到彩色图像压缩中,并将彩色图像转换到亮度、色度(YUV)空间进行编码压缩。根据空间能量分布和人眼视觉特性,在亮度空间采用小波零树分形预测编码方法,在色度空间直接采用零树编码方法。仿真实验表明:在YUV空间对彩色图像进行编码,结合小波零树和分形思想的彩色图像编码与用单独一种方法进行编码相比,无论从压缩比还是从解码图像质量看,前者都优于后者。
This paper extends the image coding method based on fractal prediction of wavelet subtree coding and zerotree coding to color image coding, and encodes the color image in YUV space.According to the enery distribution and human vision characteristic,we use zerotree coding only in chroma space.Simulation results show, using wavelet zerotree and fractal prediction menthods can get more higher compressinon rate and image quality than using single menthods in YUV space.
