Culture industry as the cartier of culture development is increasingly becoming the important industry. It is of great significance to develop the earth science culture industry to interpret the connotation of the Earth science culture, to display the philosophy of the Earth science, to boost public literacy, and to promote the economy. This paper analyses the advantages, present situation and methods of developing the earth science culture industry in China, attempting to provide some workable means for the earth science culture industry.
