摘要
提出一种新的指纹图像增强算法。先得到指纹图像的连续方向图,再根据此方向图设计方向滤波模板进行滤波,最后得到指纹的二值化图像。实验结果表明,该算法简单有效,运算速度快,为指纹的特征提取和识别奠定了坚实的基础。
A new algorithm of fingerprint enhancement is proposed in this paper. Firstly gain the continuously directiona; image of the fingerprint, secondly design orientation template using the directional image and filter the fingerprint image, lastly obtain the binary image. The experiments show that this method is simple and efficient. It operates fast and establishes the solid foundation to the feature extraction and fingerprint identification.
