Developing Vocational Education and Constructing Harmonious Campus

国务院关于大力发展职业教育的决定和天津市政府与教育部签订协议,在天津共建“国家职业教育改革试验区”,为天津高职学院的发展提供了新的机遇期。高职院校要创新办学理念,提高教育质量,强化内涵建设,构建和谐校园,发挥为国家培养大批高技能专门人才的作用,在创建有特色的高职教育体系中进行积极探索和实践。构建和谐校园,关键是踏踏实实搞好内涵建设,真心实意关心学生成长,主动满足学生的多样化选择,使高职教育的办学水平不断提升,从而推进实现教育公平与社会和谐。

State Council issued the Decision on Developing Professional Education with Great Efforts. Tianjin Municipal Government signed an agreement with Ministry of Education to build reform testing area for the national vocational education. The above- mentioned background offers a new opportunity for the development of higher vocational institutes in Tianjin. Higher vocational institutes should innovate the ideas of running schools, improve the quality of education, strengthen the connotation construction, build harmonious campus, play the role in cultivating talented persons with high techniques and make active exploration and practice in the course of creating higher vocational education system with characteristics. The key points to construct harmonious campus is to do well in connotation construction, care for the growing up of students sincerely, meet the need of students＂ various selections actively so as to improve the quality of vocational education continuously and promote the justice of education and social harmony.
