新农村建设赋予远程教育新的使命,服务“三农”是远程教育的功能体现。新时期农村教育改革与发展必须处理好普及与提高等四种新的关系,依托远程教育手段、电大网络优势和社区载体,大力发展高等教育、职业教育与培训,有效提高教育对新农村建设的贡献率。

New rural building has given new mission to distance education. It is the exhibition that distance education serving for ＂the agriculture, the countryside and the peasants＂. In new period, rural education should settle the four new relations, such as popularization and improvement and etc. Relying on RTVUs network and community cartier, developing higher education, vocational education and training, modern distance education will effectively enhance the new rural building.
