This text mainly introduces the automation comrol system of Medium and Thin Slab Continuous Casting Machine. The total design of automation control system adopts Totally Integrated Automation （TIA） platform, including the production＇s design of SIEMENS such as the programming software,monitoring software. It also includes the application of SIEMENS withdrawal drives, industrial Ethernet, ProfibuS, remote communication control and redundance technology. Design many function blocks and HMI control system, This makes the automation control system of the Continuous Casting Machine has following features ： safety, reliability, stabilization, operability and extendibility, etc.
