日本与中国自然环境的比较研究

A COMPARATIVE RESEARCH ON THE NATURAL ENVIRONMET OF JAPAN AND CHINA

从热带林的减少和森林资源状况两个方面，对日本与中国自然环境进行了比较．研究结果表明：在热带林问题上，日本应减少进口热带林木材；中国必须重视现存热带林的保护、恢复和更新．在森林资源状况方面，日本应加强人工林的管理，提高国产材的利用率．中国的森林覆盖率很低（１３．７％），木材消费量则很高．当务之急是，提高林业用地利用率，继续开展全国范围的植树造林，以减少水土流失，防止沙漠面积扩大．

The paper compares the natural resources of Japan with those of China.The results show that concerning the tropical forests,Japan needs to reduce the import of tropical timber while it is necessary for China to protect,reforest and regenerate the tropical forests.Second,to preserve resources Japan should reinforce the management of artificial forests and raise the utilization ratio of its own forests.As Chinas forest coverage ratio is very low(13.7%)and its consumption of timber is very high,it is most urgent for China to raise the utilization ratio of land for forests and to plant more trees for the purpose of reducing the loss of water and erosion of soil,and preventing the expansion of desert..
