Metropolitan Area Network Planning Adapted to CATV Development

规划好适合广电业务发展的城域数据骨干网对城市有线电视数字化的进程有很重要的作用。分析了广电业务数据对城域骨干网的要求，提出了规划设计城域数据骨干网的主要原则。阐述了当前宽带骨干网络技术中适合广电业务的2种技术方案：采用RPR（内嵌弹性分组环）技术的多业务传输平台（MSTP）和采用IRF（Intelligent Resilient Framework）智能弹性架构技术的万兆以太网。

It is very important to plan a MAN （Metropolitan Area Network） adapted to CATV development for the progress of city cable television digitalization. This article presents analysis of the broadcast television service＇s demand towards MAN, the main principles of MAN planning, and two technological schemes for the broadcast television service of existing broad band network： MSTP （Multi-service transport platform） with RPR （Resilient Packet Ring） technology and 10G Ethernet with IRF （Intelligent Resilient Framework）.
