摘要
ArcGIS Server是ESRI在ArcGIS 9.0系列产品中新推出的一个创建企业级WebGIS应用的平台。介绍了ArcGIS Server的基本知识和体系结构,阐述了ArcGIS Server的运行机制,着重分析了分布式环境下服务器端的配置和管理方法,并结合水资源信息查询系统的开发实例——系统的构建及主要功能的实现,阐明了在.NET平台下如何开发一个ArcGIS Server系统。
ArcGIS Server is a platform for building enterprise WebGIS applications. It is a part of ArcGIS 9.0 which was published by ESRI. In this paper, the basic knowledge, architecture and the function mechanism of ArcGIS Server is introduced first. Then the configuration and management of the server side of ArcGIS Server under distributed environment is analyzed emphatically. Finally, the development method of ArcGIS Server system with. NET is explained by a series of scenarios in a water resource information system.
