Liquid crystal displays need fast response to show motion picture, Nanoparticle-doped technology can be used to improve the performance of liquid crystal materials. The paper review four main kinds of nanoparticle doping technologies in liquid crystal materials, such as carbon nano tube, metal nanoparticles, metal oxide nanoparticles and ferroelectric particles.
