Intersubjectivity and Intermetaphoricity Involved in Metaphor Interpretation

在隐喻解读过程中,受喻者与施喻者两者之间存在着主体间性,这是实现隐喻间性的基本保证,而且唯有隐喻间性的实现,才能最终达致隐喻的成功解读。本研究认为,主体间性的存在是隐喻间性实现的条件,而隐喻间性的实现则是主体间性存在的归宿。

There exists intersubjectivity between the addressee and the addresser in the process of metaphor interpretation, which guarantees the realization of intermetaphoricity. What is important here is that only when intermetaphoricity is fulfilled, can a metaphor be successfully understood. The main idea held in this research is that the existence of intersubjectivity is a necessary condi, tion for the realization of intermetaphoricity which in turn is the ultimate goal of the existence of intersubjectivity.
