摘要
学习社会已成为世界各国构建终身教育体系的目标,也是未来社会发展的趋势。美国教育思想家赫钦斯基于永恒主义理念,在对美国教育现实进行分析的基础上,首先提出“学习社会”的观点,认为完善人格,实现人的价值是学习社会的意蕴所在;每个人都应该终身学习。他的学习社会理论对联合国教科文组织和美国教育政策产生了重大影响。
Learning society has become the goal of constructing the lifelong education and the development tendency of future society. On the base of educational perennialism as well as the analysis about the education situation of that time in the United States, R. M. Hutchins, who is one of American famous educational theorists, first put forward the ideas of learning society. He thinks that the real meaning of learning society indicates that education should aim at perfecting personal qualities and bring man's value into action.
