Taking the 2 × 200 MW air cooled heating units in Shanxi Datang Yungang Heating and Power Company as an example, benefits of economy and from energy, water and land saving upon retrofit substitution of large capacity air cooled heating units for small ones are being described, together with an introduction to countermeasures for major equipment of the directly air cooled condenser system for weathering through summer and winter days.
