Study on Second Order Nonlinear Optical Properties of Chalcone Derivatives

有目的地合成了１０种查耳酮衍生物，并对其进行了一系列性质测试，发现大部分具有ＳＨＧ（ＳｅｃｏｎｄＨａｒｍａｎｉｃＧｅｎｅｒａｔｉｏｎ）效应，量子化学的计算结果解释了查耳酮衍生物的二阶非线性光学特点。

Attempts a rather systematic study on chalcone derivatives as the second order nonlinear optical materials.Ten kinds of chalcone derivatives have been synthesized and their powder second harmonic generation efficiency have been measured.It is clear that most of them have SHG efficiency.The calculation of quantum chemistry interprets the second order nonlinear optical character of chalcone derivatives,and shows the relationship between their structure and properties.
