Abstract The paper discusses the issue of ratio estimation in sample survey of proportional numbers.The estimetor and variance of sampling proportional numbers with quatitative and qualitative auxiliary informations are showed,then effeciency of ratio estimation and criteria of measuring bias are analyzed,and finally the process of ratio estimation in sampling proportional numbers are showed in two cases and some related conclusions are demonstrated.
