长城湾及其附近碎屑沉积特征

Characteristics of detrital sediments for the Great Wall Bay and its adjacent area

本文根据粒度分析资料,研究了长城湾、南阿德雷湾及长城站区周围表层沉积物的粒度特征、类型与分布,讨论了采样区的自然环境因素(如物质来源、地形地貌、风暴或极地气旋、海湾水动力条件、冰川与浮冰、冰冻与融冻现象等)对碎屑沉积物的性质与分布的影响,从而揭示了冰海沉积环境和沉积物的特殊性。

Based on the data of grain-size analysis, the author studied the grain size, types, and distribution of surface sediments for the Great Wall and South Ardley Bays and the area around the Great Wail Station, and discussed the effect of environmental factors of sampling area, which include source of sediments, topography, storm, hydrodynamic condition, glaciers and the like, on the feature and distribution of the sediments, thus revealed the specific characteristics of a glacial-marine sedimentary environment and its sediments.
