摘要
从英语物称主语句形成原因和隐喻理论入手,探讨了物称主语句的拟人修辞作用及分类。对这种句式的探讨有助于透过语言现象理解和学习语言形式背后的思维模式;同时,只有在透彻地理解领会了物称主语句拟人用法的基础上,根据具体语境灵活合理使用,才能避免牵强生硬、比拟不当。
In order to understand and accept the mode of English thinking behind language forms, the paper is to analyze personification effect and types of English impersonal subject based on its origin of formation and theory of metaphor aiming at the flexible and proper use of it according to its context. Only in this way can we avoid rigid and improper personification.
