Seal characteristic of the shell of gear-box is the key technical factor. The universal air leak test equipment of the shell of gear-box was developed in need of small batch, big variety and high precision. Its sealing clamps can be neatly adjusted to the tested shell. A new calibration method was adopted to fix the reference tank of the air leak test with differential pressure. The equipment is universal with practicability.
