花皮无籽西瓜新品种豫园翠玉的选育

A new triploid seedless watermelon——Yuyuan Cuiyu

豫园翠玉是河南省农业科学院园艺研究所选育的优良无籽西瓜新品种。中晚熟,全生育期105d,果实发育期35d。植株生长势中等偏强,第1朵雌花着生在主蔓6～10节,以后每隔5～6节再现雌花,坐果率高。果实圆球形,果形指数1.01,果皮浅绿底色上覆墨绿条带,皮厚1.4cm,果皮硬度大于25kg/cm2,耐贮运性好;单果重6kg;大红瓤,瓤质细脆,纤维少,不空心,中心可溶性固形物含量12.5%,无籽性好,可食率高,品质优。商品性好。田间表现对西瓜炭疽病、病毒病抗性较强。2006年3月通过山西省农作物品种审定委员会审定,审定证号:晋审西瓜2006005。

Yuyuan Cuiyu is a new triploid seedless watermelon variety with mid-maturity,high-yield and good-quality. It was crossed by tetraploid SB-1 as female parent and RB-5 as male parent. It has 105 days of whole growth period and 35 days of fruit growth period from blossom to ripen. The first pistillate flower sites 6 to 10 nodes of the main vine with easy set fruit. It has round fruit ,light green skin with dark green stripes, 1.4 cm thick rind and more than 25 kg/cm^2 of hardness. It has good storage and transportation. It is bright red flesh with little fibers and 12.5% of the center soluble solid content without hollow. The fruit weight is 6 kg.
